He was formerly member of the Kerala Legislative Assemblt and the first Vice Chairman of the Kerala Planing Board. He was Chairman of the Hycount Group of Companies, Director of Nedungadi Bank, President of the Periyar Protection Society etc. He took his degree in Chemical Engineering from M.C.College of Technology, Madras and PG Degree from Mussouri University of U.S. Then he joined FACT as Design Engineer and in 1958 joined T.K.M College of Engg. and he ws Principal of tke college upto 1966. He left the College to contest to the Legislative Assembly from the Alwaye Constituency which he won and later he became the Vice Chairman of Planning Board.

He was member of the Kerala Technical Edn.board and member of Kerala University.

He was son-in-law of our Beloved founder late Janab Thangal Kunju Musaliar.
